Here’s a little snap shot of my story…

When I ran my own business, Odense Marcipan US, I was fortunate to get great PR coverage. Not because I was selling an interesting product, but because I had a compelling story. I was the great-granddaughter of the founder of Odense Marcipan, founded in Denmark in 1909, that now a 100 years later took on the challenge to bring this family legacy to the US. With the ambition to change the perception of marzipan and create awareness for European flavors, I partnered with Sur La Table and renowned pastry chefs and started marzipan tastings and cooking classes. One bite at a time, getting marzipan fans throughout the US. That story resonated with the target audience and made an emotional difference.
